Prayer for Healing

Lord Jesus Christ! You are the Healer of souls and bodies. You healed the sick, cleansed the lepers, restored sight to the blind. You are the same God today. We pray for healing. Touch us with Your hand — heal the diseases of the body, the pain of the soul, the wounds of the heart. May restoration and health come where illness and suffering reign. Lord, healing comes from You. We do not place our hope only in medicine, but above all in Your power. But we are also grateful for doctors — whose wisdom You also give. Grant us patience in illness and faith in Your good will. Amen.
