Fasting and Prayer

Lord! We come to You in fasting and prayer, setting aside worldly concerns to focus on You. Fasting is not merely abstaining from food, but a turning of our whole being toward You. Receive our sacrifice as an expression of love and dependence on You. In this time of fasting, open our hearts to sense Your presence. Speak to us, Lord. Show us what we need to give up — not just in food, but in thoughts, words, and actions. Strengthen us spiritually. Give us new strength and a new vision of Your will for our lives and our church. Amen.
